You must agree to the following statements before you can start your submission:
I agree that the Nencki Institute delivers the documents required in the recruitment
proceedings to the International PhD School in Biology and Translational Medicine – Bio4Med
by electronic communication means, within the meaning of art. 2 point 5 of the Act of 18 July,
2002 on the Provision of Electronic Services (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1513, hereinafter:
PES).
The Data Processing Information for candidates and doctoral students of Bio4Med
Acting pursuant to art. 40 § 5 in conjunction with art. 40 § 4 of the Act of 14 June 1960. - Code
of Administrative Procedure (Journal of Laws of 2025, item 1691, hereinafter: CAP), in
connection with the proceedings conducted in connection with the admission to the
International PhD School in Biology and Translational Medicine – Bio4Med, I would like to
inform that in a situation when a party does not have a place of residence or habitual
residence or a seat in the Republic of Poland, another European Union member state,
European Union member state, the Swiss Confederation or a member state of the European
Free Trade Association (EFTA) - a party to the agreement on the European Economic Area, if
the party has not appointed an attorney-in-fact residing in the Republic of Poland to conduct
the case and does not act through a consul of the Republic of Poland, it is obliged to appoint
an attorney-in-fact for service in the Republic of Poland. If an attorney for service is not
appointed, any letters shall be left in the case file with effect of service. Pursuant to art. 33 §
1 and § 2 of CAP, a party's proxy may be a natural person with legal capacity, and the power
of attorney should be granted in writing, in the form of an electronic document or submitted
into the minutes. At the same time, I would like to inform that a party may respond to the
letter initiating the proceedings and submit explanations in writing.
Additionally, acting on the basis of art. 9 of CAP, I would like to inform that in connection with
art. 39 § 1-3 of CAP, service of letters may be effected at the electronic service address as
defined in art. 2 point 5 of PES, unless service is effected via an account in the Nencki Institute
telecommunication system or at the Nencki Institute’s premises.
Where it is not possible to effect service in the manner referred above, Nencki Institute shall
serve documents upon a receipt through a designated operator using the public hybrid service
or by its own staff or by other authorised persons or bodies. Where delivery cannot be
effected in the manner referred to in the previous sentences, Nencki Institute shall deliver
documents by registered post or through its employees or other authorised persons or bodies.
